Emlak Konut was established in 1953 and adopted REIC status in 2002. Emlak Konut is the largest REIC in Turkey in terms of market value, portfolio value, size of land bank, property, Net Asset Value. Our business involves the purchase of land and development, marketing and sale of real estate in Turkey with a focus on upper-middle- & middle-income housing markets. Our major stakeholder is TOKİ. TOKİ can acquire land from treasury department and ministries. We have obtained our land requirements from TOKİ and with a limited extend from third parties. The sales price of the land is determined by a capital markets board licensed appraisal company in accordance with the CMB standards. The sales price depends on appraisal value of the land. In 2010 we did IPO and in 2013 we did our SPO. We expect to acquire a substantial portion of land for our future projects from TOKİ.
